Navy Seva Vanitha Unit bids farewell to former members

The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) organized a reception to bid farewell to its former executive committee members - Mrs Manori Ranasinghe, Mrs Champika Kumari Peiris, Mrs Manoranjika Abeysinghe and Mrs Akemi Vithanage. The event was held under the patronage of the President of NSVU, Mrs Mala Lamahewa at the Navy Headquarters Wardroom on 16th December 2024.

The welcome speech was delivered by the executive committee member, Mrs Anusha Banagoda. In addition, executive committee member, Mrs Priyanga Kumarasinghe delivered a speech appreciating the service of former members. As a token of gratitude and admiration, the NSVU President presented outgoing members with mementoes and prizes, recognizing their dedication and service to the organization. To set the stage for an unforgettable farewell, the Navy Band and a mesmerizing dancing troupe took center stage, captivating the audience with their entertaining performances.
