NSVU CONDUCTS COOKERY DEMONSTRATION PROGRAMME TO ENHANCE CULINARY SKILLS

The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) successfully conducted a Cookery Demonstration Programme on 1 September 2026 at Navy Headquarters, under the guidance of NSVU President, Mrs. Kaushalya Opatha Fernando.

The programme was organised in collaboration with Lanka Canaries Private Limited, with the objective of providing participants with knowledge and practical skills in the field of cookery.

The event was attended by lady officers, women sailors and naval personnel, who had the opportunity to enhance their culinary knowledge through an engaging and informative session.

The demonstration introduced participants to modern cooking techniques, practical food preparation methods, creative presentation ideas and useful kitchen tips that can be incorporated into their daily lives. This initiative reflects the organization’s genuine commitment to the holistic well-being of its members, nurturing essential life skills that enrich their quality of live.
