The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) successfully conducted a Cookery Demonstration Programme on 1 September 2026 at Navy Headquarters, under the guidance of NSVU President, Mrs. Kaushalya Opatha Fernando.

The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) hosted a farewell reception on 31 August 2026 at the NHQ Wardroom Banquet Hall, for a former Executive Committee member, Mrs. Rajika Warnakulasooriya.

Mrs. Kaushalya Opatha Fernando, President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), visited the Indian Navy Welfare and Wellness Association (NWWA) Kendra in New Delhi on 27 August 2026. She made this visit while accompanying the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Damian Fernando, during his official visit to India at the invitation of the Indian Navy.
