The President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Kaushalya Opatha Fernando, on 10 July 2026 visited ongoing welfare projects at the naval establishment SLNS Shilpa to review their progress.

The President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Kaushalya Opatha Fernando, visited Seva Vanitha projects in the Eastern Naval Command on 11 July 2026 to observe their operations and interact with staff.

The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) hosted a farewell reception for the former NSVU President, Mrs. Anusha Banagoda, recognising her contribution to the organisation. The event was held under the patronage of the incumbent President of NSVU, Mrs. Kaushalya Opatha Fernando at the Navy Headquarters Wardroom on 8 July 2026.

Upon assuming office as the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Kaushalya Opatha Fernando gave precedence to the implementation of a dengue prevention programme at the Welisara Naval Complex today (8 July 2026).

Mrs. Kaushalya Opatha Fernando assumed duties as the 19^th President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) during a formal ceremony held at the NSVU Office, Navy Headquarters, on 02 July 2026.
