NSVU committee members honoured at farewell reception

The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) hosted an elegant farewell ceremony to honour two former Executive Committee members, Mrs. Savithri Kalubovila and Mrs. Thumrika Ranaweera, in appreciation of their committed service to the organization.

The event was held on 23 Apr 26 at the NHQ Wardroom, with the President of NSVU, Mrs. Anusha Banagoda, gracing the occasion.

A warm welcome by Mrs. Gelani Thisera opened the proceedings. Then came a truly moving moment as Mrs. Wimarshi Fonseka and Mrs. Rajika Warnakulasoorya of the NSVU Executive Committee paid sincere tribute to two former members for their invaluable contributions.

The event was attended by members of the NSVU Executive Committee, spouses of NSVU members, and the staff of the organisation.
