Skill development workshops elevate service standards of NSVU Beauty Salons

With the guidance of the President of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Anusha Banagoda, two specialized training programmes were successfully conducted for the staff of the Navy Seva Vanitha Beauty Salons with the objective of strengthening their practical expertise and enhancing overall client satisfaction.

A “Wash and Blow Dry” training session was held on 09 Feb 26, focusing on correct washing techniques, scalp care, professional blow-drying methods, and modern styling finishes. Subsequently, on 25 Feb 26, a comprehensive “Hair Cut and Layering” workshop was conducted.

Both programmes were conducted by a highly experienced and professional beautician, who shared valuable industry knowledge along with practical demonstrations to ensure effective learning. The interactive nature of the sessions enabled participants to refine their technical skills and gain confidence in performing contemporary salon services.

These training initiatives reflect the continuous commitment of the Seva Vanitha Unit to professional development and service excellence. Members of the NSVU staff were present at both training programmes.
