NSVU Executive Committee Members Recognized at Farewell Reception

The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) hosted a charming farewell reception to recognize two former executive committee members, Mrs. Sujeewi De Silva and Mrs. Subashini Serasingha, celebrating their dedicated service to the organization.

This traditional farewell ceremony was organized and conducted with great dignity and decorum, taking into consideration the current challenging situation facing the country. The event took place on 12 December 2025 at the NHQ Wardroom Banquet Hall, with NSVU President Mrs. Anusha Banagoda presiding over the occasion.

The welcome speech was delivered by Mrs. Rajika Warnakulasooriya. Mrs. Roshini Dissanayaka and Mrs. Menaka Perera, serving on the NSVU executive committee, delivered heartfelt addresses acknowledging the valuable contributions made by the two former executive committee members. The departing members were also honored with prizes as a gesture of appreciation for their dedicated service.

The occasion was graced by NSVU executive and committee members, as well as the staff of the NSVU.
