Naval spouses steal the spotlight at NSVU's Talents Night 2025

The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), under the directives of the NSVU President, organized "Talents Night-2025," a vibrant event dedicated to showcasing the diverse artistic talents of spouses of naval officers. The event was held at the Wave n’ Lake Navy Hall on 16 Nov 25.

The occasion turned out to be a dedicated platform to unveil the unique skills and creativity within the naval community. Spouses from across all Naval Commands came together to present a captivating array of 19 performances. The initiative was praised for strengthening the bonds of the naval community and for its role in enhancing the welfare and morale of its members.

The event was distinguished by the presence of the spouse of the Deputy Minister of Defence Mrs. Sujeewa Jayasekara, the Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) at the Ministry of Defence Dr. Ruvini Rasika Perera, the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo along with the President of Army Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake, the Chairperson of Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda together with the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anusha Banagoda, senior officers, NSVU executive committee members and the staff of NSVU.
