NSVU focuses on professional development for salon staff

In an effort to enhance professional skills and service quality, a specialized workshop for the staff of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) salons was successfully conducted at the Admiral Somathilaka Dissanayake Auditorium on 11 Nov 25.

This professional development initiative was held under the directives of the President of the NSVU, Mrs. Anusha Banagoda. The workshop was conducted by renowned makeup artist, Mr. Thanurshan, and focused on providing modern beauty-care training to the salon staff.

The workshop empowered the NSVU salon teams with contemporary techniques and foster a more customer-centric approach in their daily operations.

Addressing the participants, Mrs. Banagoda emphasized the importance of continuous skill development, maintaining a high degree of professionalism, to effectively meet evolving industry standards. She commended the staff for their enthusiasm and encouraged them to fully utilize the new knowledge and techniques to excel in their roles.
