President of NSVU embarks on official visit to SLNS Shilpa

The President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Anusha Banagoda, embarked on an official visit to SLNS Shilpa on 01 Nov 25.

During the visit, Mrs. Banagoda reviewed the progress and operational effectiveness of the Seva Vanitha Welfare Shop and the IT Cell established for the benefit of naval personnel.

Further strengthening the objectives of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Banagoda also engaged in discussions with the spouses of naval officers, attentively listening to their views, suggestions, and matters pertaining to their well-being and daily concerns.

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, the Deputy Area Commander Western Naval Area, the Commanding Officer and Executive Officer of SLNS Shilpa, Supervising Officers of NSVU projects, officers, as well as the Coordinating Officer and staff of the NSVU, were present on this occasion.
