Seva Vanitha Unit Conducts Alms Giving at Kudumbigala Viharaya in Panama.

The Sri Lanka Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) organized a serene alms giving ceremony at the Kudumbigala Viharaya in Panama on 17 Oct 25 in view of forthcoming 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanaka Navy.

The alms giving was conducted with the participation of the President of the NSVU, Mrs. Anusha Bangoda, by highlighting the objective of offering spiritual merit and blessings for the well-being of all members of the Sri Lanka Navy and their families.

During the programme, the President of NSVUand the participating members respectfully offered dana to the resident monks and engaged in religious observances with deep reverence. The gathering also took time to offer special blessings for the prosperity and success of the Sri Lanka Navy and its welfare initiatives.

The members of NSVU executive committee, Commander Southeastern Naval Area, Deputy Area commander, Commanding Officer, Staff of NSVU as well as all officers and sailors of SLNS Mahanaga were also present on this occasion.
