NSVU President takes pulse of women's welfare in Northern Naval Command

The President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Anusha Banagoda, undertook a visit to the Northern Naval Command on 12 Oct 25.

During the visit, Mrs. Banagoda held discussions with lady officers and woman sailors serving in the Northern Naval Command and the dialogue focused on their welfare matters, addressing needs and exploring avenues to further strengthen support mechanisms for women trough NSV projects in the naval service.

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, the Commander Northern Naval Area, the Commanding Officer SLNS Uththara and a group of naval personnel were also present on this occasion.
