Navy Seva Vanitha Unit hosts multi-specialty medical clinics for members

The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) brought health and wellness into focus with a series of medical clinics for its members at the Navy General Hospital, Colombo, on 13 Aug 25. The initiative was augmented by 09 consultants, including those from the Navy and renowned external medical practitioners.

Covering an extensive range of disciplines, from general medicine, orthopedic, surgery, ophthalmology, cardiology, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, the clinics offered expert consultations, practical lifestyle advice, and valuable insights into personal health.

Honouring their service, the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Anusha Banagoda, presented mementoes to the participating consultants.

The occasion was graced by the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, Director General Health Services, Surgeon Rear Admiral Janaka Marambe, Director Naval Dental Services, Commodore Nandani Wijedoru, Surgeon Commodore Dharmapriya Chandraguptha, senior and junior officers as well as the Coordinating Officer and staff members of NSVU.
