Farewell reception honours former NSVU President

The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) organized a colourful farewell reception for its former President, Mrs. Mala Lamahewa, recognizing her dedicated service and contributions to the organization. The event was held on 03 Apr 25 at the Banquet Hall of the NHQ Wardroom under the patronage of the incumbent NSVU President, Mrs. Anusha Banagoda.

The occasion was made vibrant with melodious singing and captivating dance performances, adding a festive touch to the farewell. Mrs. Rajika Warnakulasooriya, a member of the NSVU Executive Committee, delivered a warm speech appreciating Mrs. Lamahewa’s unwavering commitment and leadership during her tenure. As a token of gratitude, prizes were also presented to the former President in recognition of her exemplary service.

The occasion was graced by NSVU Executive Committee members,lady officers, spouses of naval officers as well as the Coordinating Officer and staff of the NSVU.
