Abans showroom at SLNS Kawantissa declared open

The President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) Mrs Mala Lamahewa declared open the newly established Abans showroom at SLNS Kawantissa on 03rd December 2023. NSVU, in collaboration with Abans Pvt Ltd, offered this service to enhance the welfare of naval personnel. These outlets have provided naval personnel with the opportunity to acquire electrical and electronic devices through convenient cash sale and flexible payment plans. The new facility was made available at SLNS Kawantissa, going by the directives of NSVU President.

Chief Sales Manager Abans Mr Upul De Silva, NSVU executive committee member – Mrs Priyanga Kumarasinghe, committee members – Mrs Kamila Bowatte and Mrs Chamari Edirisinghe, Commander Southern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Chinthaka Kumarasinghe, Commanding Officer SLNS Kawantissa, Captain Athula Jayaweera, Coordinating Officer, Secretary and staff of NSVU and a group of sailors from the Southern Naval Command were also present on this occasion.
