Low-income families in Seruwawila receive dry ration from NSVU

The Sri Lanka College of Military Medicine joining hands with the Lions Club of Sri Jayawardenepura-Kotte held a medical camp at the Mangala Raja Maha Vihara, Seruwila on 08th October 2023. In parallel with this event, the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) provided dry ration packs to the low-income families in the locality.

The event was held under the patronage of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs Mala Lamahewa. Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Suresh De Silva, Director General Health Services, Surgeon Rear Admiral Janaka Marambe, Vice President of NSVU, Mrs Udeni Kularatne and NSVU executive committee member, Mrs Champika Silva also joined this magnanimous cause.

The Coordinating Officer, Secretary and staff of NSVU and officers and sailors from the Eastern Naval Command were present on this occasion.
