Seva Vanitha Unit organizes health clinic for naval personnel and their families in North Central Naval Command

Going by an idea mooted by the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), a health clinic for naval personnel and their family members in the North Central Naval Command was held on 16th June 2023. The event held under the patronage of the President of NSVU, Mrs Mala Lamahewa was conducted at the Malima Reception Hall, SLNS Pandukabhaya.

In addition, Director Naval Dental Services, Surgeon Commodore Nandani Wijedoru on 15th June conducted a dental clinic for the children of Saliyapura 'Mitra' Girls Home. Moreover, dry food rations were provided to 50 low-income families including 10 pregnant mothers in the area as a social responsibility initiative of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, on 16th June.

NSVU committee member Mrs Kamila Bowatta, Commanding Officer SLNS Pandukabhaya Captain KS Dissanayake, NSVU coordinating officer, secretary and the staff were also present on this occasion.
