Navy Seva Vanitha Unit visits dependent naval war heroes at Anchorage

On the sidelines of the 14th National War Heroes’ Commemoration Day, the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) conducted a programme on 18th May 2023 to inquire into the wellbeing of dependent naval war heroes at the Anchorage Naval Care Centre in Welisara. At the invitation of the President of NSVU, Mrs Mala Lamahewa the event was graced by Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera.

During the programme, Commander of the Navy and the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit inquired into the wellbeing of dependent naval war heroes in rehabilitation and presented them with gifts.

Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Suresh De Silva, a group of senior officers from Western Naval Command, executive and committee members of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Coordinating Officer, Secretary and the staff of NSVU were also present on this occasion.
