Seva Vanitha Vegetable Stall declared open at SLNS Parakrama

The President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs Chandima Ulugetenne declared open a new vegetable stall on 11th November 2022. The initiative was set in motion as yet another welfare measure of NSVU for the benefit of naval personnel attached to the naval establishment SLNS Parakrama.

The vegetable stall has been established next to the NSVU welfare outlet of SLNS Parakrama. President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) opened the stall for the use of naval personnel, following the performance of religious rituals. Hereafter, naval personnel attached to SLNS Parakrama and Navy Headquarters will be able to purchase fresh vegetables from this stall, at reasonable price.

The occasion was also attended by the executive committee member of NSVU, Mrs Inoka Weerakoon, Executive Officer of SLNS Parakrama, Commander (C) KPNP Kurukulasooriya, NSVU Project Coordinating Officer at SLNS Gemunu, Commander (VNF) HE Chandrasena as well as the Secretary and staff of NSVU.
