NSVU President lays foundation stone for new yoghurt project at SLNS Thammanna

The President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs Chandima Ulugetenne laid the foundation stone for the proposed yoghurt project building at SLNS Thammanna on 01st June 2022. Following an idea mooted by the President, organization is into promote yoghurt production in the Navy through this project run by the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit.

The laying of foundation took place minutes after the religious rituals held on an auspicious note. Deputy Area Commander North Central Naval Command, Commodore HNS Perera, NSVU committee member Mrs Menaka Samanmalee and Mrs Apsara Jayakody, Commanding Officer SLNS Thammanna, Commander JAMGB Jayakody, NSVU members senior and junior officers and a group of sailors were also present on this occasion.
