Seva Vanitha Unit supports welfare of members of naval family

The President Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) handed over 150 dry ration packs to Director Naval Welfare, Commodore Nishantha Amarosa, to be distributed them among widows and parents of naval personnel who perished and went missing in action. The event in this regard was held at the Office of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit on 03rd December 2021.

Navy’s Welfare Directorate every year visits the widows and parents of naval personnel who perished and went missing in action. These provisions were made available to be handed over during those visits, following an idea mooted by the President NSVU.

NSVU executive committee member, Mrs. Shyama Silva, Senior Supervising Officer NSVU Projects, Rear Admiral Sujeewa Senaviratne and staff of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit were present on this occasion.
