Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne takes office as new President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit

Upon being appointed as the 24th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne assumed duties in the new position on 15th July 2020. In a similar vein, Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne also took office as the new President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) on the same day.

Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenna has been rendering a praiseworthy service to the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit as an active senior member since year 2017 and has served as the Vice President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit close to a period of one and half years.

Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne is a distinguished old-girl of Rajasinghe Central College, Ruwanwella and had showcased a great deal of potential in many disciplines at school. The members of the NSVU who were present at the assumption of duties expressed their confidence that Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne will play a significant role for the betterment of the organization, during her tenure.
