Navy Seva Vanitha assists medical camp at Welioya area

Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Navy in collaboration with the Directorate of Naval Medical Services, assisted for several community welfare programmes paralleled to the medical camp organized by Sri Lanka College of Military Medicine at Welioya area on 27th July 2019.

Accordingly, in assistance of their studies, the students of Paranagama wewa Vidyalaya where the medical camp was held, were provided with desks, chairs, stationary and dry ration by the NSVU under the guidance of its President JK Arundathie Udithamala Jayaneththi. This praiseworthy work which was highly appreciated by the attendees, was funded by the NSVU.

Further, the new assembly hall of Paranagama wewa Vidyalaya constructed by the Navy was declared open by the Vice President of the NSVU Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenna. Commander North Central Naval Area Rear Admiral Sudath Kurukulasooriya with his spouse Mrs. Chithrani Galewatta, members of NSVU and number of Naval personnel were present on this occasion.
