NSVU bids adieu to a veteran member of the organization

A formal function to bid farewell to Mrs. Disna Wimalathunga, one of the senior members of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), was held at the Naval Headquarters on 14th December 2018, under the patronage of the President of the organization, Mrs. Sandya Ranasinghe.

The outgoing member was warmly welcomed to the occasion by Mrs. Ranasinghe, presenting her with a flower bouquet. Thereupon, senior members of the NSVU extended best wishes for the future endeavours of Mrs. Wimalathunga and cherished the memories of their olden days in the organization. A memento was also presented to the outgoing senior member by the NSVU President, in recognition of her service. The Vice President of the NSVU, Mrs. Arundathi Jayaneththi, senior NSVU members and several naval officers were also present on this occasion.
