Sil campaign held at war hero housing complex in Ipalogama

Under the guidance and directives of the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, a Sil campaign was held at the war hero housing complex in Ipalogama on the Esala Full Moon Poya day (July, 08) for the naval personnel and their families residing at the housing complex dedicated for the war heroes.

The Sil programme was organized at the Buddhist Centre located at the housing complex premises. Meanwhile; transportation, alms and related facilities needed for the campaign were also provided under the aegis of the President of the NSVU.

All members of the NSVU and a number of naval personnel rendered their fullest cooperation for the successful conduct of this meritorious act.
