The executive committee meeting of the Navy SevaVanitha Unit (NSVU) was held under the patronage of its President Mrs. Thiruni Sinniah at the NSVU office, Naval Headquarters in Colombo yesterday (24 October 2017).

Upon being refurbished, the newfangled beauty parlour located at SLNS Gemunu was declared open by the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) Mrs. Thiruni Sinniah today (23rd October).

Under the directives of the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), several programmes have been organized for the children of Naval Preschools to coincide with the world children's day which fell on 01 October 2017.
