Following a concept of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, a special beauty culture course, organized for the wives of senior sailors of the Navy, was commenced in Welisara on 25^th October 2016.

Under the guidance of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, the members of NSVU organised a series of programmes to mark International Children's and Elders’ day both fell on 1st of October.

Initiating a concept of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, an awareness programme on environmental conservation, presided over by the President of NSVU, was held at the Naval Preschool in Welisara this morning (30).
