NSVU provides financial support for education of child of senior sailor
The President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs Chandima Ulugetenne on 16th November 2022 extended financial assistance, as agreed by the organization, for the education of the daughter of Chief Petty Officer RMSK Rathnayake, serving in the Navy.
The senior sailor had made a request from NSVU on compassionate grounds, in support of the continuation of education of her daughter. Paying careful attention to the request, the President of NSVU and the executive committee has approved to provide Rs. 20,000 each month from June 2022 to January 2023 for the education purpose of the daughter.
Meanwhile, a letter in this regard was handed over to Chief Petty Officer RMSK Rathnayake by the President on 16th November and the occasion was also attended by the staff of NSVU.
